LEAD MINISTER / ELDER

Derek Levins is married to Carina and they have three children-Will age 16, Josh age 14, and Angelina age 11.  Derek has a Bachelor of Arts and Theology from Southwest Bible College and Seminary.  He also has a Bachelor of Biblical Literature from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO.  He has ministered in Christian Churches in Enid and Clinton, OK as an Associate Minister, Youth Minister, and Worship Minister.  He was ordained to the ministry at Cherokee Hills Christian Church in Oklahoma on August 20, 2000. He enjoys reading, golf, camping, playing guitar, cooking, singing and playing with his children.

 

Eric Lam

STUDENT MINISTER / ELDER

Eric graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Ozark Christian College. During his time in school he was an active part of the Church he attended in Vienna. He is married to his wife Heidi a special education teacher, and they have 1 daughter Clara. Eric loves to share the Gospel with others. He has preached through Pulpit Supply all over the Southern Illinois area. The things he enjoys most are spending time with his family on their farm. He loves hunting and fishing, riding 4wheelers, hiking, and playing golf. He loves reading and studying theology and is excited to see how God is going to use him here at FCCH leading and teaching the students of this Church. His greatest passion is to share the love of Jesus with others and watching the Holy Spirit work by changing hearts and building faith.

Cassie Miles

Children’s Ministry Coordinator

Cassie is a wife, “soccer mom”, and substitute teacher in Williamson County. In 2010, she received her Bachelor of Science in Adaptive and Municipal Recreation from Southern Illinois University.

Following graduation, she married Dustin and moved to Pensacola, FL. During their time in Pensacola, Cassie worked as the MWR Youth Programing Lead for The Department of Defense on Naval Air Station Pensacola. Almost four years later, Cassie and Dustin moved back to Southern Illinois. In early 2014, her son, Nolan, was born and Cassie had the pleasure of becoming a stay-at-home mom before returning to the field of education in 2018. Cassie enjoys, drinking coffee, gardening, yoga, baking, camping and spending time with her family.
