Frequently asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I schedule a counseling appointment?

Counseling sessions are by appointment only. Please contact Greg Hall at (618)925-3714. Please leave me a message if I am unable to answer your call. I will be happy to call you back as soon as possible.

What should I expect during my first session?

An Initial Assessment Session is you first step. At the end of your assessment, recommendations about dealing with the presenting issues will be made.

An assessment is 45-50 minutes in length. The fee for the assessment is the same as the hourly rate of $50.00.

You will be asked to complete a one page registration form and review the Policies and Procedures Statement and the Client Rights Statement. Finally, I will ask if I can take a picture for your electronic file. The picture helps me remember you and the issues that you face. This information goes into your private client file that is protected by law.

A great way to prepare yourself for an assessment is to write a letter to your counselor. Tell them what the problem is and what you would like to do to deal with the problem. The purpose of the letter is to help you take a mental inventory of all the details that surround the issues. The letter will help you focus and be able to concentrate on telling your counselor about the issues you wish to discuss. You have the option of leaving your letter with your counselor for future review. The letter helps you and your counselor develop a treatment plan.

When do I have to pay for my session?

Please make arrangements with your counselor if you are unable to pay for your session at the conclusion of the session.

Do you take insurance? Medicare? Medicaid?

CCC does not currently accept any third party billing with insurance. Arrangements can be made in advance of serevices under some circumstances. A statement for you to use with your insurance is available upon request.

CCC is not eligible to receive reimbursement from Medicare or Public Aid.
